Weebly and Wix are my go-to's. Both are comprehensive with easy to look at workspaces, drag and drop everything, lots of cool templates and features. You can hold up to ten sites per account just to play with. Both host the site for you, which is convenient, and both offer a free domain name for a year if your smart enough to have turned your back on Go-Daddy...
Weebly's support is ^#1. Chat Support bailed me out of a serious client wilson, and gave us a discount for our trouble :) Tons of well-written support pages and vids, too. The only con for Weebly is that they don't supply a blank start page.
Wix, however, does, and I've been rolling with that more lately. Start from scratch and drag in all your fave features, move things around a lot... Oh, and Wix has really cool animation features for everything :) Sadly, Wix does not offer Chat Support.
Someone mentioned SquareSpace... I checked them out some years ago and wasn't really excited. Strike one was having to pay-up for the sight subscription within two weeks or lose the site. Then, just recently I took on a client who insisted on SquareSpace (her 'insistence' should have ... It was an image heavy site - 120ish postings of 35 images in the site w/ handmade slideshow. Really hard. SqSp galleries and slideshows just were not flexible at all. 220 internal links in the site. And the client still wasn't happy about placement, and this is where SqSp really crashed - everything is built on, well, squares - she smallest a spacer could get was 108px. So that really made gallery building very difficult. On the upside. SqSp support is #2 under Weebly. They actually film your issue showing you how to fix it and send you the vid while on Chat Support the whole time. Pretty cool.
But for my fun, I'd go with Weebly and Wix.
